Privacy Policy
Last updated September 9, 2026
Space to Feel is a private journal, built to hold as little of your data as possible. This page explains, plainly, what that means in practice.
The short version
What you write — every reflection and pause — is stored only on your phone. It is never uploaded to our servers, and we can't read it. Signing in is just for your access to the app; it doesn't give us access to your words.
Your account
Space to Feel uses Clerk, an authentication provider, to handle sign-in. Depending on how you sign in, this means we (through Clerk) hold your email address, or basic profile information from Google, Apple, or Microsoft if you use one of those to sign in. If you sign in with a password, Clerk stores and secures it — it never passes through or is visible to us. This account information is used only to let you back into the app; it is never linked to anything you write.
Your reflections
Everything you write in a pause or a reflection is saved directly on your device and stays there. It is not sent to, backed up on, or stored on any server we run. We have no way to see it. You can delete any entry at any time from within the app, and deleting the app deletes everything it stored.
Analytics
We use PostHog, a product analytics tool, to understand basic things like how many people open the app — nothing about what you write. Automatic capture of taps and screens is switched off; we are not tracking your use of the app screen by screen.
Support messages
Our support page sends your message through PostHog rather than an email inbox. If you send one, PostHog stores your message and the email you gave us so we can reply — never anything from your reflections, since the page has no access to them.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data, to anyone, ever.
- We don't show ads, and we don't share data with ad networks.
- We don't build a profile of you from what you write.
Other services we use
Clerk and PostHog are the only outside services involved in running Space to Feel, and each only sees the limited account or usage information described above — never your reflections. Both are bound by their own privacy commitments as processors acting on our behalf.
Deleting your account
To delete your account and the sign-in information we hold about you, email us at hello@spacetofeel.com and we'll remove it. Since your reflections already live only on your phone, deleting the app takes care of those.
Children
Space to Feel isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
